The Association Burundaise pour le Développement, la Démocratie et les Droits Humains (AB3D) is pleased to announce that its Founder and President, Steve Silver Nibaruta, has been nominated for the 2026 QS ImpACT Awards following the approval of his Impact Report on the QS ImpACT platform.
The QS ImpACT platform recognizes individuals and organizations whose initiatives contribute to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Every approved Impact Report becomes eligible for nomination to the annual QS ImpACT Awards, recognizing meaningful contributions to sustainable development and social impact.
This nomination reflects AB3D’s continued commitment to promoting climate governance, democratic participation, youth leadership, human rights, and community-driven development initiatives in Burundi.
Over the past years, AB3D has worked with national and international partners to implement projects that strengthen citizen participation, empower young people, improve environmental governance, and mobilize innovative solutions for sustainable development.
Although the nomination does not represent the final award outcome, it is an important international recognition of the impact generated through AB3D’s work and its contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
